Lifestyles are changing all the time,so do the way people get around on a daily basis. In major cities, bicycles, scooters and other "greener" means of transportation are gradually replacing our cars.
Added to this is the adaptation of casual looks and sportswear, giving the backpack, once the preserve of schoolchildren, students and globetrotters, the opportunity to take pride of place in the selection of our looks. It is now an undeniable and thoughtful choice to complete an outfit.
And because we all have our own personalities, we want a bag that reflects who we are, and above all that is designed to meet our everyday needs.
#1 The fabric:
The touch, the resistance, the level of shine has its importance in the choice of its bag.
You are in chic or casual mood? we'll start with leather, vegan leather or coated canvas...
For a more casual or streetwear look, twill nylon or gum canvas will do just fine.
More than dubious and redundant weather conditions: we're going straight for a coated or gum canvas for definite water resistance when nylon or polyester canvas will only be water-repellent ... so watch out for water tricks.
#2 The choice of shape
Backpacks come in a variety of sizes. More than a design, it's really an arrangement that we're looking for. We're going to take a look at 3 of them:
1. The "classic": it's round, it's cute, but it can also be elegant. It has the advantage of a large zipped opening that gives you a clear view of the inside of your bag. It's the 'tote bag' as we like to call it here. It'll do its job in any circumstances.
2. The "rolltop": a fashionable shape taken from courier bags, this more "street wear" model offers us adaptability of volume thanks to its roll-top fastening system. And there's no need to risk getting your zip stuck in your belongings: just roll it up, clip it on and off you go!
3. The “school boy”: usually closed with a flap, this format adds a more sophisticated style to an outfit. Perfect for going to work or out and about, this backpack generally has the advantage of being able to be organised more precisely thanks to its design, with more compartments both inside and out.
